The British non-scripted TV production group Tin Roof Media announced that Helen Veale will leave her role as Creative Director of Outline Productions. She founded Outline with her business partner, Laura Mansfield, in 1999, and the company was acquired by TRM in 2017.

Helen Veale reviewed the quarter-century journey:  "After almost 25 years running Outline Productions with the brilliant Laura Mansfield, it's now time for something new. I'm so proud of Outline as a company and of the values and culture at its heart, which allowed us to work with some of Britain's brightest and best creatives. We hired and nurtured people from all backgrounds, and it's been great to see them flourish and achieve amazing things – from running indies to commissioning or running major networks worldwide. And we have had the opportunity to work with some truly brilliant on-screen talent," they noted.

Later, the experienced professional added: "I've really enjoyed being part of Outline's many production successes, from the BAFTA-nominated No More Boys and Girls to seeing our formats picked up and remade around the world, to creating popular returning brands like Remarkable Places to Eat and Sarah Beeny's New Life in the Country. Through the hundreds of hours of TV I've devised and delivered, it's been a real pleasure developing shows and formats that audiences keep coming to. I've also loved learning the commercial tricks of the trade and have become a passionate enthusiast for brand partnerships and AFP projects. All of this has made me increasingly aware of lots of new ways that the creative skills of TV translate into a broader range of partnerships and platforms in broadcasting and beyond; I'm going to take this chance to explore them. Running Outline has been such a privilege, but now I'm really excited about my next steps," she commented.

Rod Henwood, Chairman of Tin Roof Media, recognized the outgoing executive: "Together with Laura, Helen built Outline into a very well-respected indie with the reputation for producing high quality, returning shows for a wide range of clients. Everyone at Tin Roof would like to thank her for making Outline such a success and wish her the very best for her future - where I'm sure she'll continue to be a leading light in British TV. In the future, Dan Chambers and Justine Kershaw (Creative Directors of Outline's sister company, Blink Films) will assume responsibility for Outline's production and development slate and creative direction. In contrast, the production management and operations of the company remain integrated within Tin Roof under Ulla Streib. We look forward to making further announcements in due course," he said.
