Inter Medya closed an extensive deal with Brazil’s Globoplay

Turkish production and distribution company Inter Medya closed an extensive deal with Globoplay, the Brazilian subscription video on demand service owned by Grupo Globo, for six of its most popular titles.

In detail, Turkish dramas “Bitter Lands,” “Last Summer,” “The Trusted,” “Ramo,” and “Tainted Love” are heading to the leading Brazilian streaming service, which has more than 20 million registered users. The New Generation Turkish Series “Naked” will be streamed on Globoplay as well.

“Brazil is one of the top-ranking countries in content consumption with its large audience. We are happy to bring Turkish titles to Brazil with a lot of potential. Earlier, we have licensed our phenomenal movie ‘Miracle In Cell No.7’ in Brazil and we continue to spread Turkish content in the country,”  said Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Head of Sales and Acquisitions of Inter Medya.
