ITV Studios' "I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" makes its way to Greece

The Greek version of the show, scheduled to launch on Skai TV in the fall, will be produced by Acun Medya, filmed in the Dominican Republic.

ITV Studios’ format "I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!" has received its first commission in Greece."We are thrilled to see the remarkable success of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! globally," Ruth Berry, MD, Global Partnerships, ITV Studios said.

The Greek version of the show will be produced by Acun Medya, filmed in the Dominican Republic and is set to launch on Skai TV in the fall.The deal in Greece brings the number of territories to have adapted the format up to 17. "The format's ability to engage viewers across multiple platforms and consistently deliver high ratings shows its enduring appeal and entertainment value," Berry said. "French Canada has been the latest to revel in this evergreen format’s success, I look forward to seeing what it can do for Skai TV."

Both new and long-standing international broadcast partners of "I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" continue successfully airing the format. Last week TVA, French Canada finished its first season garnering an average of 1.6 million viewers and a 48.1% audience share. The title was also ranked as the leading reality format in Germany with the 16th series consolidating to an average of 4.1 million viewers and an average share of 21.6%, surpassing RTL’s late evening slot average volume excluding sport and news broadcasts, and over twice the average share.

In the UK, the recently-aired All Star edition attracted an average of 5.1 million viewers, a significant increase of more than 2 million viewers compared to ITV1’s slot average. The All Star edition, titled "I'm A Celebrity...South Africa" features memorable campmates from previous seasons who venture into the new setting of South Africa.
