Jamie Oliver returns to Channel 4 with a brand-new series filmed at his home, titled “Jamie: Keep Cooking Family Favourites”. The show will feature recipes created by Jamie, with brand-new dishes he hopes will be loved by the whole family.

The TV chef will be creating simple, affordable and delicious meals using the ingredients lots of us buy week in, week out. Taking inspiration from the average weekly shopping basket, Jamie will make problem-solving meals to shake up our regular repertoires with simple, affordable and delicious dishes.

“Jamie: Keep Cooking Family Favourites” (8x30’) will provide meals for everyday family needs, all using familiar ingredients. Whether it’s salmon fillets or the humble spud, Jamie will be rustling up new favourites, as well as sharing easy but extra-special family recipes and crowd pleasers. The series will also include recipes from the chef’s latest book, “7 Ways,” the first book inspired by real data on what people buy each week.

Airing on Channel 4 in August, this new series follows “Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On,” a series created as a direct response to lockdown, when more people were cooking at home, and looking for flexible food inspiration.

“We’re really excited to share this new series. We’ve all been spending more time cooking at home and need a bit of inspiration to mix it up a bit to keep it interesting. Jamie has been at home too, and this new series offers a glimpse into what he’s been cooking for his own family, creating meals that work for real family life. Filmed in his garden at home, the cooking is joyful and delicious, offering ingeniously tasty ways to use our everyday ingredients in new ways to create dishes which will become instant family favourites,”  said Samantha Beddoes, Executive Producer at the Jamie Oliver Group.

“Jamie: Keep Cooking Family Favourites” will be distributed internationally by Fremantle. The show was commissioned for Channel 4 by Tim Hancock, Commissioning Editor, Formats and Features. Samantha Beddoes is Executive Producer and Katie Millard is the series producer for Jamie Oliver Productions.
