Jambika Docs, founded by Juan Solera and Jota Salinas, announces its launch as a boutique international sales agency specializing in documentaries and factual content. Based in Barcelona, Spain, Jambika Docs represents an inspiring portfolio of films that spark curiosity and connect with audiences worldwide. With a focus on quality over quantity, the company’s mission is to bring compelling non-fiction stories to broadcasters, streamers, festivals, educational markets, and more.

Jambika Docs curates a diverse catalogue of films, ranging from specials to series, celebrating universal themes and dynamic storytelling. "As filmmakers ourselves, we are committed to treating each project with care, offering transparency and detailed reporting to producers. By doing so, we aim to build lasting relationships rooted in trust and collaboration," said Solera and Salinas.

The company current catalog includes 3 new titles, a doc named "Territory" with Darko Peric (also known as Helsinki in "Money Heist") where he travels to Kyrgyzstan, exploring snow leopards and self-discovery; "The Keepers", a visually stunning look at beekeeping on Ireland’s Beara Peninsula, and "Her Name is Nanny Nellie", a moving story of reclaiming Aboriginal identity and dignity in Australia.



"We are interested in strong storytelling and in the educational power of the films that we represent, and they definitely need to be entertaining as we want to approach a wide and generalist audience," said Jambika Docs co-founders.

Jambika Docs offers international sales & outreach, maximizing exposure across diverse platforms and markets; production support, assisting with financing, co-productions, and narrative development; digital strategy, ensuring films remain accessible through global digital platforms and post-production, adapting content for various formats and distribution channels. 

The company will be attending several markets this year such as EFM Berlinale, Mip London, CPH:DOX, Docs Barcelona, Input, Sheffield Doc Fest or Sunnyside of the Doc.
