Mitre Studios appoints Ed Sleeman as Managing Director

Mitre Studios has appointed former Talkback MD and BBC Commissioning Editor, Ed Sleeman as their new Managing Director."We have admired Ed’s work from afar for a long time and we’re so pleased to be bringing him on board at this really exciting time for Mitre Studios," Declan Donnelly said. Ed will report directly to the Mitre board and will oversee the continued growth into branded and non-branded content. His experience and passion for television will help drive Mitre into the next stage of its journey. "Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him and will be an invaluable asset as we move into the next stage of Mitre’s evolution as a provider of amazing, ambitious and joyful TV and digital content," Ant McPartlin said.

The appointment of Ed as Managing Director reflects Ant and Dec's efforts to have to build Mitre Studios into a fully-fledged production powerhouse.
