Prime Entertainment Group has inked a new deal with Netflix for the internationally acclaimed historical documentary series “Einsatzgruppen: the Nazi Death Squads”. Both companies have been working together since 2014 with a range of successful multi-territory deals closed not only for major packages of high-profile documentaries on various topics, but also for PRIME’s cinema best sellers like "Hollywood’s Best Film Directors" (91x26’).
Alexandra Marguerite, Head of Sales at Prime says, “Netflix have been great partners these years and we are truly glad to remain among the Platform’s content provides since 2014. We are thrilled that the high production value and variety of our programs allow us to maintain this precious partnership. We are especially proud of our outstanding catalog of History programming which not only helped reinforce our collaboration with Netflix, but also opened new exciting opportunities to work with major international networks like, A&E owned The History Channel, RAI, Deutsche Welle, PBS, Spiegel and Discovery.”
“Einsatzgruppen: the Nazi Death Squads” (4x52’) is a strong and unique documentary revealing the “Holocaust by bullets”, a barely known execution that happened at the start of WWII in Eastern Europe and the Baltics. The high ratings and overall success of the program come from the rare interviews of survivors and unique archival footage, making this docu-series a unique and never told before story highly appealing to international audience.
Thanks to its sizable catalog of war and history programs, PRIME has recently closed multiple deals with international TV networks willing to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
