New broadcast international partners will air Sinking Ship series

Winning series "Odd Squad" and "Annedroids" have been picked up by POP in the UK and Mexican educational broadcast television network Canal Once.

Sinking Ship Entertainment got new sales for 17-time Emmy® Award-winning kids’ comedic math series, "Odd Squad", and 22-time Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime original children’s STEM series, "Annedroids". The series have been picked up byPOP in the UK and Mexican educational broadcast television network Canal Once (seasons III and IV) added for "Annedroids" and Kixi (Germany) added for "Odd Squad".

“Both 'Annedroids' and 'Odd Squad' continue to travel the world and add new broadcast partners and fans, as they both resonate with kids and parents all over,” said Kate Sanagan, Sinking Ship’s Head of Sales and Distribution.

"Odd Squad" is an Emmy® and BAFTA-winning live-action comedy series for kids 5-8 about a high-tech organization run by kids that investigates odd phenomena and uses math to put things right again. The series was created by Tim McKeon and Adam Peltzman and is co-produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment and Fred Rogers Productions for PBS KIDS, in association with TVOkids.

"Annedroids", a live-action/CGI blended series, is the story of budding scientist Anne who builds robots to help her perform experiments with her friends Nick and Shania, and her android creations. The Amazon Prime original series was created by J.J. Johnson and produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment in association with broadcasters TVOkids, SRC and KiKa.

This expansion comes on the heels of the recent acquisition of "Odd Squad" by HBO Max for non-exclusive SVOD rights to the first two seasons for Latin America. The series is set to premiere on the platform this year.
