Prime Video has appointed Nicole Clemens as Vice President and Head of International Originals for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, effective July 7. The announcement was made by Kelly Day, VP of Prime Video International.

The news comes during a time of major shifts at Amazon, both in the U.S. and overseas. Studio head Jennifer Salke recently left the company, shortly after international originals chief James Farrell and UK managing director Chris Bird also stepped down. Following Salke’s departure, Kelly Day took on a bigger international role.

Clemens joins from Paramount Television Studios, where she most recently served as President. During her tenure, she oversaw the development and production of several hit series that now stream on Prime Video, including "Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan," "Reacher," and "Cross." She also held a dual role as President of Original Scripted Series for Paramount+, contributing to the programming strategy for the platform’s launch.

At Prime Video, Clemens will lead the international originals team, which last year produced 140 titles across more than 20 territories, including "Culpa Tuya," "Maxton Hall," and "Clarkson’s Farm." Upcoming projects include "Red Queen," "Betty La Fea" (Colombia), "Newtopia," "Superboys of Malegaon," "Graduation Trip: Mallorca," and "Costiera."
