PARAMOUNT’S CHIEF OF FILM PRODUCTION ELIZABETH RAPOSO EXITS THE COMPANY

Raposo joined the company 15 years ago, and took on her most recent role 3 years ago following the exit of Marc Evans. She helped produce hit films like "Mission Impossible:Fallout," "Bumblebee," and "Star Treck."

Paramount Pictures’ President of Production Elizabeth Raposo will step down from her role. “With her great taste and incredible talent relationships,” President of Paramount’s Motion Picture Group, Emma Watts said. “Liz has been instrumental in many of the company’s past and recent successes.

Watts made the announcement Thursday evening, in a memo to the company, stating that Raposo “has been an invaluable part of the Paramount family.” “We thank Liz wholeheartedly for her many years of service and countless contributions to the studio, and wish her the very best,” she said.

Raposo joined Paramount for more than a decade and a half ago but held her most recent position for three years,taking on her role as Production President following the exit of Marc Evans. Some of the films she contributed to include “Rocketman,” “A Quiet Place,” “Mission: Impossible—Fallout” and “Bumblebee.” She also worked on the latest “Star Trek” films and the upcoming “Top Gun: Maverick."

Before her 15 years at Paramount, Raposo was Director of Development at Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures, where she helped bring “Black Swan,” “The Wrestler” and “The Fountain” to the screen.
