PGS Entertainment names Paula Taborda dos Guaranys executive VP of acquisitions, development

PGS Entertainment has appointed Paula Taborda dos Guaranys as executive VP of acquisitions and development.“Having known Paula for over 10 years, we have had the chance to notice her professionalism and deep knowledge of the kids’ industry," Philippe and Guillaume Soutter, co-founders of PGS, said. "We are pleased to be welcoming her to PGS and uniquely help build our content line-up."

In the newly created role, Taborda dos Guaranys will be responsible for providing expert strategic direction in developing kids and family content for the global market, with the aim of creating new opportunities and to enhance and expand PGS’s current offerings through acquisitions and development.

Taborda dos Guaranys joins PGS from Planeta Entertainment, where she spent two years managing the producer/distributor’s production slate. Before that, Taborda dos Guaranys worked at Globosat in Brazil for nearly a decade, working her way up to head of content, development and programming for channels Gloob and Gloobinho.

Taborda dos Guaranys' most recent role there was head of content, development and programming for Grupo Globo kids channels Gloob and Gloobinho, and she closed co-pro deals for series including Miraculous, Trulli Tales, Power Players and Alice & Lewis.
