Pluto TV teams up with BBC Studios and Fremantle to launch new FAST channels

Pluto TV and BBC Studios announced the further roll-out of the “Top Gear” FAST channel in the EMEA region, while the dedicated The Jamie Oliver Channel will be available to US audiences thanks to a new deal between the platform and Fremantle.

Pluto TV announced the development of new FAST channels with BBC Studios and Fremantle. In detail, the streamer and BBC Studios announced the further roll-out of the “Top Gear” FAST channel in the EMEA region, while the dedicated The Jamie Oliver Channel will be available to US audiences thanks to a new deal with Fremantle.

Already available on Pluto TV in Europe (Spain, Nordics) as well as in North America (US and Canada) the “Top Gear” FAST channel has now joined the Pluto TV line-up in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Italy. In the German-speaking territories, the channel showcases seasons 5 to 14 and 23 to 26. In France, it offers seasons 9 to 27, whilst the Italian version includes seasons 2 to 25. All channels will be available with local language dubbing.

Meanwhile, Fremantle announced the launch of the dedicated FAST channel The Jamie Oliver Channel to US audiences on a panel at Mipcom 2023. Viewers will now able to watch the globally renowned chef’s cooking shows on the free streaming television service Pluto TV.

The channel features the celebrated chef and child health campaigner Jamie Oliver and his huge catalogue of inspiring cooking shows. The channel will bring his delicious recipes to an entirely new audience, inspiring home cooks from a host of his iconic shows including “Jamie’s Quick & Easy,” “Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals,” “Jamie’s Super Food,” as well as his award-winning documentary series “Sugar Rush,” “Jamie’s School Dinners,” and more.
