Pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment expand "Ryan’s World the Movie" release

Pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment announce the international expansion of the film "Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure", which will premiere on over 125 screens theatrically nationwide across Canada and include leading exhibition chains Cineplex Entertainment and Landmark Cinemas, and in the UK and Ireland in over 90 cinemas via Vue Entertainment.

The countries’ theatrical releases will coincide with a day-and-date release in the U.S. where the film will premiere on over 2,100 screens starting August 16th, 2024. “The international expansion of 'Ryan's World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure' is a testament to the global appeal and influence of the cast’s massive global fandom,” stated Jeff Siegel, Head of Content Distribution at pocket.watch. “We're thrilled to bring this first-of-its-kind film to such renowned circuits in Canada, the UK and Ireland as we continue to redefine what’s possible for creator-driven entertainment.”

"Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure" marks the first-ever wide theatrical distribution of a digital-creator driven film, starring a digital-creator cast with a massive global following of 207M subscribers across YouTube accounts. The international expansion will allow kids and families in Canada, the UK and Ireland the opportunity to experience this first-of-its-kind film, while solidifying the Ryan’s World brand as a powerhouse in family entertainment and the strong demand from fans beyond the U.S. market.

In Canada, the film will be released through Sherry Media Group, and the exclusive Theatrical Distributor of Netflix Original films in Canada.
