SIC International Distribution announced that the format adaptation of “Mar Salgado” has already begun to be produced by the Mexican media group Televisa under the title “El Amor Invencible.” In charge of this production is Juan Osorio, one of the company's most recognized producers.
Written by Inês Gomes and starring Margarida Villa Nova and Ricardo Pereira, the telenovela follows the story of Leonor, a woman who struggles to find the daughter she thought had died during childbirth. This situation will push her to a love from the past.
Produced by SIC and SP Televisão, “Mar Salgado” has won several international awards, including the Intermedia-Globe Gold Award at World Media Festival and the Bronze Medal at 5th at New York Festivals - International TV & Film Awards. “El Amor Invencible” is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
