Animaccord, the entertainment company behind the popular animated show "Masha And The Bear", which reached 100 billion views worldwide on YouTube last year, continues its international licensing, media and promotional activities. This includes key regions such as Latin America, MENA, China, and India. By 2022, the company had built a solid partners portfolio that counts over 350 CP deals with brands such as Ferrero, Danone, Tonies, Spin Master, Havaianas, as well as more than 300 media deals, among which are Warner Media, Amazon Prime, Rai, SBT, Televisa, and more.

In autumn 2021, the brand broke another milestone on YouTube: 'Masha and the Bear' hit 100 billion views worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, the Animaccord Studio team created a brand-new special episode titled "We love you to 100 Billion and back" to express their appreciation to their viewers all over the world. The fastest-growing Arabic channel brought the cartoon their sixth Diamond Play Button for reaching 10 million subscribers, in addition to previously honoured Spanish, Portuguese (with the majority of audience from Mexico and Brazil, respectively) and other previously honoured YouTube channels. The brand has also exceeded the breakthrough of 1 million years of watch time and accounts for 1,000 YouTube views per second.

GLOBAL EXPANSION STRATEGY
According to Parrot Analytics global data, "Masha and the Bear" is the #1 preschool show as of today and has ranked within the TOP-5 of children's content since 2020. Following its complex global expansion strategy, Animaccord successfully arranged various licensing and media deals in the Chinese market. By summer 2022, the company will bring the special musical season named Masha’s Songs to screens in China for the first time, in addition to the already available Masha and the Bear core seasons and Masha’s Spooky Stories. The launch will cover Tencent Video, as well as a number of other platforms, that will be streaming the new content by the end of the year.

In terms of social media, "Masha and the Bear" is in an excellent position with more than 1.42M followers only on DouYin (TikTok in China) superseding its rivals on the platform. This trend has continued on other platforms, such as Weibo and WeChat. The cartoon has also been recognized by the Chinese animation industry, as it recently won “Best Animation” at the Hong Kong World Film Festival 2022.

MASHA AND THE BEAR KEEP IT UP IN LATIN AMERICA
The leading kids' TV channels and Animaccord’s long-term partners, Mexican Televisa and Brazilian SBT, continue the broadcasting of the latest Season 5. The show airs on a number of local VOD platforms like Globo, Encripta and PlayKids in Brazil as well as cross-promotion activities together with Televisa in Mexico. In addition, the episodes are also broadcasted by Netflix and Warner Media’s Cartoonito across the whole continent.

In the consumer products market in the Americas, the company currently counts over 70 licensees. Last year the company, together with Crocs, released the iconic Masha and the Bear Crocs in the US. Meanwhile, Tonies® has added "Masha and the Bear" to its extensive family of children's audio stories and content on their platform. Moreover, this Easter in Brazil, Arcor confectionary released chocolate Easter Eggs with Masha and the Bear characters.

BRINING SPECIAL LIVE EXPERIENCE TO THE REGION
In terms of special projects and events, Animaccord will expand Live Brand Entertainment in 2023 across various territories, including Latin America. Moreover, a giant Masha and the Bear air balloon took part in the Paris Parade, the largest Christmas parade in South America. The parade includes a procession of various inflatable giants travelling through the skies of Chile cities’ central squares and streets, to the amazement and fun of thousands of families.

In Mexico, "Masha and the Bear" took part in the annual Bolofest Liverpool festival. Participation of the popular duo in a special animated video within the virtual Christmas parade was supported by Spin Master and had been live from December to January. Bolofest has been broadcasted by major platforms including Televisa, Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, Disney Channel, etc. and has gained over 40 million reaches.
