Rabbit International, the distribution arm of the Monday Media group, announced today a string of commissions for their original studio game show format "City vs Country". TV3 Lithuania, Telewizja Polsat of Poland and Star Light Media of Ukraine have all commissioned a local version of the format. The productions of all three versions will begin in autumn 2024. All deals were brokered by Senior Sales Consultant Marta Csizmadia, who is responsible for CEE sales at Rabbit Films.
"City vs Country" is a primetime feel-good quiz show for the whole family. In the show two hosts take the teams through three rounds of the game to see which side dominates: city or country? What do snobby city folk know about the reality of living in the country? And do the country bumpkins have any idea what it takes to survive city life? It’s a warm-hearted competition with bucket loads of tension!
The original version of City vs Country is produced by Rabbit Films, with season 7 currently airing on commercial broadcaster MTV3 Finland. Other international adaptations of the format have previously aired on TV2 Hungary and Lithuania’s MTG.
