Red Arrow Studios International has secured the global distribution rights to the ambitious new international thriller "Blackout – Tomorrow Is Too Late." “The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us just how fast and how radically our day to day lives can change,” Max Wiedemann, Managing Director, and Executive Producer at W&B Television said. "'Blackout – Tomorrow Is Too Late’ is a gripping international thriller, but it is also a show about hope: if people come together and help each other, the worst can be overcome.”
The series is produced by W&B Television for Joyn and SAT.1 in Germany, where it is set to premiere in Fall 2021 on Joyn and Spring 2022 on SAT.1. Executive Producers are Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann, and Kerstin Nommsen for W&B Television and Lena Wickert, Jana Kaun, and Stefan Gärtner for Joyn and SAT.1.
The six-part German-language drama is directed by Lancelot von Naso and Oliver Rihs, Bis wir tot sind oder frei and written by von Naso alongside Kai-Uwe Hasenheit. It stars Moritz Bleibtreu, Marie Leuenberger, Jessica Schwarz, Hannah Hoekstra, Heiner Lauterbach, Stephan Kampwirth, Carlos Leal, Barry Atsma and Vladimir Korneev.
