The biggest hit from South Korean cinema this year, "The Roundup" will be released by Sato Company in Brazil, Mexico, and Latin America in the second half of 2022. The movie starring Ma Dong-Seok (“Eternals”, “Train to Busan”) is a mix of genres: police, comedy, and action.

"The Roundup" has already reached an impressive box office of 12 million tickets in its home country (more than 20% of the Korean population), and spent more than one month as the highest-grossing film of the week, surpassing hits like "Parasite" and "Train to Busan". Moreover, this was the first film in the country to sell more than 10 million tickets after the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Ma Dong-Seok plays a cop with non-orthodox methods of action. In the end, nevertheless, his mission is accomplished, although he makes some enemies in his Corporation. Now, he is after a dangerous murder.

Besides being a huge box-office hit, selling more tickets than blockbusters such as “Jurassic World: Dominion” and “Lightyear”, "The Roundup" was well received by the critics. The film is directed by Lee Sang-Yong, and starring by Ma Dong-seok, Sukku Son, Gwi-hwa Choi, Ha-Jun.
