Sky Kids acquires two "The Wiggles" new series for the UK and Eire

Sky Kids have expanded their commitment to "The Wiggles" in the UK and Eire by acquiring two new series, series 6 of "Ready Steady Wiggle" (26x15) and complementary short form educational series "Wiggle and Learn" (40x10’). The deals for both series were secured by ABC Content Sales.

"The Wiggles" return to Sky Kids with an expanded offering, with two new series of sunshine, song, dance and adventure from all the way down under set to launch ahead of The Wiggles’ eagerly-anticipated tour of the UK in May. Series 6 of "Ready Steady Wiggle" launches this month, while brand-new "Wiggle and Learn" will premiere in spring 2025.

"The Wiggles" were recently confirmed as Australia’s #1 Australian streamed artist on Spotify for the second year running. Now Anthony, Caterina, Lachy, Simon, Lucia, John, Tsehay and Evie are back with even more dancing, singing, problem-solving and, above all, a whole lot of fun for Sky Kids audiences.

The new series of "Ready Steady Wiggle" features little Wigglers’ favourite songs and nursery rhymes along with brand-new catchy tunes, as beloved friends including Wags the Dog, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, Shirley Shawn the Unicorn and The Tree of Wisdom join the gang for new playtime adventures.

"Wiggle and Learn", originally conceived as a ground-breaking 30 minute YouTube series, explores a particular theme in each show – including animals, food, transport, colours and emotions – and offers learning on that subject through the joy of music and play as it fosters active participation and engagement to generate the best learning experience. Sky Kids have taken the 10-minute short form version of the series.
