Sky Kids has revealed exclusive first-look images for its vibrant new slate of original programming, featuring returning favourites, imaginative new formats, and storytelling for young audiences. From spooky Halloween parties to calming Christmas specials, the slate offers fresh adventures and playful storytelling styles that spark creativity, curiosity, and emotional connection. Let’s take a closer look at the slate in detail.

"Emerald", based on the much-loved book series by Harriet Muncaster (Isadora Moon), follows a mermaid princess who swims to the beat of her own drum as she faces unexpected adventures and changing family dynamics. Emerald does things her way – with joy, creativity, and plenty of heart. The series features Shelly the Turtle, voiced by Adjoa Andoh MBE (Bridgerton).

Another exciting addition to the slate is "Jaime’s Treetop Tales", which invites children into Jaime’s cosy treehouse for imaginative storytime adventures inspired by everyday objects. Led by Jaime Amor, a beloved storyteller with over 400 million views across all social platforms, the series encourages simulated play and creative thinking through original characters and playful narratives, while offering calm, connected moments for young viewers.

The third season of the BAFTA-nominated "The Very Small Creatures", produced by Aardman Animations, brings back the lovable five for more comedy, warmth, and emotional storytelling as they continue to explore a child’s play area when no one is around. The season is accompanied by "The Very Small Creatures Mashups" – longer compilation episodes from seasons 1–3, themed around playful moments like messy play, dress-up, and celebration.

"Pip & Posy’s Spooktacular Party", a brand new special from the BAFTA-nominated series, sees Pip, Posy and their friends meeting at Frankie’s flat for a Halloween party where everyone dresses up and competes to get the most 'jumps' of the evening and win a special crown. With Halloween games, spooky storytelling, and treats galore, there’s just one big question – why does the ghost decoration keep moving around..?

Ahead of the January 2026 release of the third season of the BAFTA-nominated series "BooSnoo!", "BooSnoo! Christmas Mashup" brings together snow, ski slopes, and seasonal cheer in one visually rich festive treat, offering a bit of calm to the Christmas season.

Lucy Murphy, Director of Kids Content at Sky, celebrated the slate: "The Sky Kids team are proud to be working with our brilliant creative partners across the UK to bring back audience favourites in new formats – "Pip and Posy", "The Very Small Creatures", and "BooSnoo!" – as well as brand new shows that introduce the magical underwater world of "Emerald" and the beautiful storytelling of Jaime Amor. This slate reflects what Sky Kids is all about: imaginative, joyful, and high-quality entertainment that kids love and parents trust," commented.

Sky Kids content is commissioned by Lucy Murphy, Director of Kids Content at Sky, for Cécile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios & Chief Content Officer for Sky. The Commissioning Editors for Sky Kids are Ian France, Estelle Hughes, and Lisa Mackintosh.
