Spain's Atresplayer to adapt Banijay's “No Strings Attached”

Cuarzo Producciones, part of Banijay Iberia, will produce the first international adaptation of the show alongside Flooxer for Atresplayer, the streaming platform of Atresmedia.

Banijay confirmed Cuarzo Producciones, part of Banijay Iberia, will produce the first international adaptation of “No Strings Attached” alongside Flooxer for Atresplayer, the platform of the audiovisual Spanish group Atresmedia. “No Strings Attached” was originally created in the UK by RDF Television for Channel 4. Cuarzo Producciones has previously produced entertainment to reality, talk shows, and documentaries. Its credits include “Where is Marta?” for Netflix, “Trash or Treasure,” and “Temptation Island.”

In this format, celebrities will read and voice the recreation of erotic fan fiction set against the backdrop of scenes enacted with puppets. This intimate, mischievous, and sometimes surreal series catapults well-known faces out of their comfort zone for a night the celebrities and the viewers will never forget. Hosted by Valeria Ros, Atresplayer will release a new episode weekly, which will be available to premium users.
