Star Stable Entertainment has appointed retail-first licensing agent The Point.1888 to represent its licensing interests in the UK. The appointment was made via Star Stable Entertainment’s Master Agent, the Finnish and Canada based licensing and animation studio Ferly.
Taina Malén, CMO at Star Stable, said, “Star Stable has a passionate fan base in the UK, with 94% of players saying they prefer playing Star Stable to other equestrian games. We are delighted to now be working with The Point.1888 to bring licensed product to our British fans.”
The Point.1888 has been brought on to bring its licensing expertise to the programme, as they look to expand into new categories and build long-lasting licensee and retail partnerships. Focus areas will include social shopping, apparel, personalised products, partnerships, homeware and gifting.
In 2011, Star Stable Entertainment has launched Star Stable online, a massive online multiplayer game, that allows every girl to be the hero in their own adventure as they explore a magical island where humans and horses share a unique bond.
The game has been a huge success with tween and teen girls, with over 25+million users across 180 countries. This has allowed Star Stable to grow rapidly, moving swiftly into mobile games, companion apps, books, and an animated series "Mistfall" that launched on YouTube in 2021, with Master Agent Ferly Licensing and merchandise have followed on from this with partners Just Play and Pix-Brix already signed on, Star Stable and Ferly are now looking to expand Star Stable’s licensing programme.
