Studiocanal has sold the CANAL+ Creation Originale comedy drama series "All The Way Up," also known as "Validé" to WarnerMedia Latin America, exclusively for HBO Max and to Radio-Canada. “Powerful, and energtic series All The Way Up is a real phenomenon, beating all streaming ratings records on CANAL+ and, at the same time, on the main music streaming services," Beatriz Campos, SVP Global Sales and Production Financing at Studiocanal said. "All The Way Up" is a Mandarin Télévision production, in co-production with CANAL+ and Autodidakte for CANAL+ Creation Originale, created by Franck Gastambide, Charles Van Tieghem, Xavier Lacaille and Giulio Callegari. Stars of the series, including director and lead actor Franck Gastambide, will be in Cannes this week as the second series opens CANNESERIES Festival. Season 2 is produced by Mandarin Télévision and Autodidakte Production, and directed by Franck Gastambide and David Diane. HBO Max, which in June this year rolled out in 39 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean marking the streaming platform’s first launch outside of the U.S. and starting off its global expansion, will premiere season one of the 10-part drama. Radio-Canada's OTT platform ICI TOU.TV EXTRA has aquired both the first and recently completed second season exclusive rights for Canada. The first season of the title saw massive success on CANAL+ digital platforms with more than 35 million streams to date. Music from the series has also been a large success with more than 4 million views of the clip on YouTube, with French rapper Hatik – who played the lead role in season one – becoming a rap sensation since the series began.
Clément, aka Apash, is a talented young rapper with his two childhood friends by his side. One day he is recognized for his skills by one of France’s biggest rap stars.
