TelevisaUnivision unveils the sponsors for this year's Latin Grammy Awards

The 23rd edition of the Awards show will feature BacardÍ, Bulova, Clinique, Frontera Wines, Mastercard, 1800 Tequila, and Walmart.

TelevisaUnivision and The Latin Recording Academy today announced the complete lineup of sponsors for the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards. This year’s partners include BacardÍ, Bulova, Clinique, Frontera Wines, Mastercard, 1800 Tequila, and Walmart. The award show is scheduled to air live Univision on Thursday, 17 November at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT).  “We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s sponsors to the Biggest Night in Latin Music, each with innovative and culturally rich activations that will engage and delight our audience across platforms,” said Donna Speciale, President of U.S. Advertising Sales and Marketing at TelevisaUnivision. “The Latin Grammys are an amazing platform for brands to connect with U.S. Hispanics – and, through our sophisticated suite of solutions, we’re delivering the creativity, precision and ROI marketers need to drive a lasting impact with consumers.” 

For the first time, BacardÍ will serve as the official rum sponsor of the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The brand kicked off their inaugural partnership sponsoring the nominations live stream in September, and the celebrations will continue later this month in Las Vegas for the Latin Grammy telecast.The company will sponsor the Best New Artist Showcase on Tuesday, November 15th November, where guests will be treated to performances by the category’s nominees. The brand will also be gifting all nominees and presenters with custom apparel, personalized bottles as well as featuring signature BACARDÍ rum cocktails throughout various Latin Grammy events. “Our sponsors are key partners in bringing Latin GRAMMY Week to life, and we are grateful and honored to welcome back many leading brands and embrace first-time partners as we come together to celebrate The Biggest Night in Latin Music,” said Enrique Perez, Head of Partnerships & Client Solutions at The Latin Recording Academy. “This is an incredible moment in time for Latin music, and our brand partners are at the forefront of reaching Latin music aficionados globally with innovative programs.” 

Bulova is the official timepiece and jewelry partner of the Latin Grammy Awards. Now in its seventh year of partnership, the brand is partnering with The Latin Recording Academy to gift all first-time Latin GRAMMY winner’s special edition watches, personalized with engraving, to commemorate the milestone – an annual gifting initiative that started in 2019. Bulova also sponsors Primeras Veces, the Best New Artist Digital Series, which features a special interview and performance by 2022 Best New Artist Nominees and a special look at their Latin GrammyEdition Bulova watch. Additionally, Bulova is partnering with TelevisaUnivision’s local stations in Los Angeles, Miami and Dallas to bring audiences the excitement of their Gemini and Millenia Latin Grammy® inspired collection. Univision’s Roberto Hernández will serve as Bulova brand ambassador.

Clinique will return to the event for the second time as Official Digital Sponsor. Viewers will get the chance to virtually go behind the scenes with Melissa Barrera, actress and Clinique Global Ambassador, for exclusive access to the details of her final makeup look as she makes her debut on the  red carpet. Frontera Wines also forms part of the catalog, joining for the third consecutive year as the official wine sponsor of the Latin Grammy Awards and will be offering a series of special promotions available at various points of sale across the U.S. Throughout Latin GRAMMY Week, they are sponsoring the Official Talent Gift Lounge, the Latin Grammy Awards as well as the Official Latin Grammy After-Party. 

For its sixth consecutive year as a global sponsor, Mastercard returns as the official payment sponsor and continues to grow its partnership with The Latin Recording Academy serving as sponsor of the Latin Grammy Awards, Person of the Year and the Official Latin Grammy After-Party. For the first time this year, Mastercard is presenting sponsor of the Best New Artist Showcase, a new multi-year tour that will launch by showcasing the Annual Latin Grammy Best New Artist nominees in Las Vegas during Latin Grammy Week and later have tour stops in Latin America– an effort that’s part of Mastercard’s continued support of emerging artists. Mastercard will also introduce its Fellowship Program with The Latin Recording Academy.

1800 Tequila will also join for the first time, sponsoring the Biggest Night in Latin Music. In their inaugural year of sponsorship, 1800 Tequila will be the presenting sponsor of the “1800 Seconds with Latin Grammy Best New Artist Nominees,” a digital documentary series covering the history and evolution of the Latin Recording Academy’s Best New Artist category in 1800 seconds. 1800 Tequila will also be sponsoring the Latin Grammy Awards, Person of the Year, the Official Talent Gift Lounge and the Official Latin Grammy After-Party. The company will also host bespoke bars to promote their signature Latin Grammy cocktails featuring their ultra-premium 1800 Cristalino Añejo Tequila. Viewers will be able to tune-in to exclusive, behind-the-scenes Latin Grammy Red Carpet coverage in real time on @1800tequila’s Instagram hosted by content creator Ezequiel Cardenas.
