The Kitchen’s global sales team is adding Lilly Paez, a seasoned industry veteran, to the language studio’s family of diverse professionals. “Lilly is a goal-driven sales expert, with over eight years of experience in the content sales industry,” Deeny Kaplan, Executive Vice President of The Kitchen, added. “She has joined the team as Sales Director and will be responsible for the Americas directly, while working closely with all global sales operations.”

Most recently, Lilly served as Sales Manager at Fremantle, focusing on driving revenue through strategic licensing and format deals within Latin American market for linear, FTA and VOD players. Prior to joining Fremantle, Lilly worked at Warner Bros Discovery, where she focused on the sales of catalogue content across Latin America, US Hispanic and Iberia.

“There is no doubt that Lilly brings a fresh perspective to our sales team’s outreach globally,” Kaplan explained. “The need for excellent global localization of assets, coupled with the understanding of the demanding requirements of all formats and genres of programming, are invaluable in creating a diverse and successful sales team. We are thrilled to have Lilly with us.”

BOARD OF GLOBAL INFLUENCERS

The Kitchen International introduces its inaugural Board of Global Influencers, an international advisory board, exclusive to The Kitchen. They have been selected based on each one’s experience, area of expertise, and dedication to the industry, as well as their own global reach as knowledgeable professionals. “The Kitchen has been known for its out-of-the-box approach to keeping its clients and services in tune with the changing landscape of our industry,” Deeny Kaplan, explained. ”For a long time now, we’ve counted on our industry colleagues to bring their insight into new services and new interests that shape our daily workflow, and the new Board of Global Influencers will assuredly bring much continued expertise and a broader range, both geographically and content-wise to everything we do.”

The Kitchen’s Board of Global Influencers is composed by Jennifer Chrein (JBMW Media) that has over 30 years of experience in the global programming and media distribution business; David Levine (Lightboat Media), a seasoned creative content strategist, building multiple billion-dollar kids content franchises, launching and producing series across the globe, and is a recognized DEI leader; Summer Yang, an expert in the children’s programming arena, having been a client of The Kitchen for seven years, prior to establishing her independent media company, Suncatcher Media, last year.

Part of the board are also Jonathan Abraham, a seasoned kids and family distribution and consumer products executive; and Markus Andorfer, who has established Markus Andorfer Consulting, as well as the TV production company, Markand Media GmbH, in Vienna, Austria.
