Toon2Tango, the kids and family entertainment venture headed by long-time television and movie industry experts Ulli Stoef and Jo Daris, has announced that production has begun on its new show for the very young, “Hey Fuzzy Yellow!,” created and developed by Måns Swanberg and Toon2Tango. Production of series one is expected to be complete by early 2025.

“Hey Fuzzy Yellow!,” which the company describes as a spirited new spin on childhood edutainment with a focus on independent thinking and self-expression through exploration in the company of Fuzzy Yellow and friends, is a co-production by Toon2Tango, Curiosity Ink Media, Treehouse Republic and Hotel Hungaria Animation.

Support for “Hey Fuzzy Yellow!” and its innovative approach also extends to creative funding groups. It has been specially selected for funding by Creative Europe, the European Commission's flagship programme to support the culture and audio-visual sectors, and Screen Ireland, the development agency for the Irish Film Industry, which invests in talent, creativity and enterprise. The show’s commissioning broadcaster is Ireland’s public service broadcaster RTÉ. “Hey Fuzzy Yellow!” has also secured financing and programming commitments from several international broadcasters.

“We always felt that that the humour, fun and originality of ‘Hey Fuzzy Yellow!’ would be a winning combination – and so it has proved. From a very early stage it has attracted strong interest from broadcasting, production and animation companies as well as creative funding organizations. Now, with the help of our best-in-class partners and supporters we aim to translate the enormous promise of ‘Hey Fuzzy Yellow!’ into a unique offering that truly stands out in the pre-school marketplace,”  said Jo Daris, Chief Creative Officer of Toon2Tango.
