"Bravl Sqjad"
Kids and family entertainment venture Toon2Tango, a LEONINE Animation Studios company, has announced that it has signed a development and co-production deal with animation studio Factory Rights and Keith Chapman Productions for "Bravo Squad," an exciting new CGI series with 52 x 11’ animated episodes for upper pre-schoolers and online shorts for boys and girls.
This brand-new IP is created by the legendary Keith Chapman, creator of "Bob the Builder" and "Paw Patrol." "Bravo Squad" follows the adventures of brave police cadet Oscar Bravo and his partner Juliet Tango as they race to emergencies, maintain order, and keep the citizens and animals of their home, Drama Town, safe. The show is a celebration of the everyday heroes of the police, fire, ambulance, and rescue services, featuring an engaging and lovable cast of brave young cadets.
"Bravo Squad" is both exciting and educational, blending brilliantly written and engrossing storylines with important life lessons about problem-solving, friendships, and teamwork. It encourages children to take innovative approaches to everyday challenges and highlights how technology can empower them to make a positive impact on the world. Production of "Bravo Squad" is expected to begin in 2026, with plans to preview episodes to potential broadcast partners in 2028.
The title also offers strong licensing potential across various categories, thanks to a cool and aspirational range of renewable-energy-powered cars and support vehicles, as well as some very innovative gadgets. Not to mention beautifully realized shops, parks, lakes, mountains, garden centers, and Action Station—the Bravo Squad’s team HQ—and the many characters themselves. The show has been created by Keith Chapman, the mastermind behind mega-hit kids’ TV brands including "Paw Patrol," "Bob the Builder," "Mighty Express," "Jonny Jetboy," and many more. Keith’s shows have generated over $22 billion in combined global sales.
Toon2Tango co-founder Ulli Stoef highlighted that the product has unique features: “'Bravo Squad' aims to be the first globally successful police-themed preschool character-based show on the market—and with this extraordinary list of partners, including ourselves, Factory Rights, and Keith Chapman, whose award-winning style and skill are part of the DNA of this captivating new show, it’s getting off to a truly amazing start! We’re incredibly excited to be part of this game-changing project that will captivate and thrill young audiences while leaving a lasting impact with its positive values of community, teamwork, and friendship," noted.
Factory Rights’ Phil Chalk referred to the creative context of the project: “To bring 'Bravo Squad' to life alongside Keith and the team at Toon2Tango is a special opportunity, combining the creative and commercial talent of this unique collaboration", commented.
Following recent announcements from Toon2Tango regarding plans to produce entertainment content based on the successful toy line E,drador Creatures by Schleich and to distribute the inventive new show "ThinkerBen and Motor," "Bravo Squad" joins a growing list of Toon2Tango hits, including "Agent 203" and "Monster Loving Maniacs." Additionally, upcoming productions such as "The Wee Littles," "Hey Fuzzy Yellow," "Showtime," and "Dinomite & Lucy" further underline Toon2Tango’s strength in engaging pre-schoolers, children, tweens, and teens.
