Banijay Kids & Family has announced the launch of a new podcast series titled “Aw Shucks, What Are You Talking About? The Topo Gigio Podcast,” marking the audio debut of one of Italy’s most iconic children’s characters. The 10-episode series, created by Movimenti Production in collaboration with Topo Gigio S.r.l., will be available exclusively on RaiPlay Sound later this month.
The Italian-language podcast follows the beloved animated mouse on a globe-trotting adventure to explore ecosystems and encounter fascinating wildlife. Designed to engage young listeners through immersive soundscapes and storytelling, each episode presents a vibrant, curiosity-driven journey to places such as the Savannah and the Alps.

Originally created by Italian puppeteer Maria Perego in 1959, Topo Gigio has been reimagined for modern audiences as a preschool cartoon comedy. The show currently airs on Rai Yoyo and is available on RaiPlay.
