The development agent and distributor of drama series Eccho Rights announced that the hit Turkish series "Winds of Love" has been renewed for a second season, which will arrive in September 2024. The second season will continue to follow as Halil and Zeynep’s romance blossoms, against a backdrop of new challenges and old enemies. Season two will premiere in September 2024 with 278 x 45’ episodes ordered.

The first season premiered in January 2024 and, currently airing daily, has continued a string of recent successes for commissioner Kanal 7, whose latest title Behind the Veil, was launched by Eccho Rights during the recent MIPTV market in Cannes. The broadcaster also renewed another daily drama hit, "Redemption", weeks ago.

Season one of "Winds of Love" (140 x 45’) tells the story of Halil, a man fueled by the flames of revenge after his family's honour is shattered and their home stolen by the treacherous Aslanlı Family. Determined to reclaim what was unjustly taken from him, Halil devises a cunning plan to bring down those who wronged him. But his resolve is put to the test when he encounters Zeynep, the captivating daughter of his sworn enemies. As Halil's heart becomes entangled with Zeynep's, he finds himself torn between his thirst for retribution and his blossoming feelings for the one woman who holds the key to his redemption. Yet, little does he know, Zeynep is no mere damsel in distress – she's a warrior, fiercely loyal to her family and their legacy.

Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights made reference to the great international reception of the series: “We first brought 'Winds of Love' to the international market at Content Americas in January, and saw a great reception for the series. Since then the title has gone from strength to strength in Turkey, as well as garnering a lot of international interest so we are delighted to see Kanal 7 committing to a renewal so early," stated.
