Eccho Rights will represent Daily Drama “Legacy” (Emanet) on a global scale after sealing a deal with Karamel Yapin. The production of the series is still in the works with a scheduled launch date of March 24th and will premiere on Kanal 7.

“Legacy” is predicted to produce similar results to that of drama series “The Promise,” also produced by Karamel Yapim for Kanal 7 in Turkey, which continues to score record-breaking ratings since its launch in February 2019. The series experienced international success and has been scheduled to renew for a third season.

“We are proud to continue our fruitful collaboration with Karamel Yapim having represented daily dramas 'Prisoner of Love' and 'The Promise' with great response from our clients," said Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights. "'Legacy' is a captivating and emotional story that touches on family, loyalty, and love in a way that audiences can connect to all over the world."

“Legacy” tells the story of Yaman, a successful businessman who is incapable of love because of his traumatic childhood. There is only one person that he feels something for, his young nephew Yusuf. When Yusuf’s mother dies unexpectedly, his aunt Seher, a beautiful, courageous young woman, moves into the family mansion to take care of him. Initially clashing with Yaman and his cold and stand-offish behavior, both soon start to develop deep feelings for one another. Yaman begins to open himself up and finds the strength to confront his past.
