Universal Cinergia confirmed the attendance to the Consul of the Republic of Turkyie in Miami, Feyza Barutçu-Altug, to the company`s studios on Friday, 30th June. “We are truly privileged to welcome the Consul of Turkyie at our facilities and provide her with a firsthand experience of the passion we put into everything we do,” Liliam Hernandez said.
To further strengthen the bond between the company and the Turkish community, Liliam Hernandez (CEO) and Gema Lopez (COO) hosted the visit. Accompanying the Consul were producers Deniz Amel, Ediz Utkucan and Elif Demirtas. As previously announced, Universal Cinergia will be hosting the Turkish Drama Gala, a celebration of the Turkish content success in Latin America. The event will take place in Miami Beach, on 22nd January 2024 and will gather clients from Latin America, Turkey, the USA including broadcasters, distributors, channels, content producers, writers, actors from the successful productions, press and industry colleagues.
The localization efforts undertaken with Turkish content have played a crucial role not only in Latin America but also in other parts of the world. “The Consul has been actively collaborating with us for the Turkish Gala event scheduled for January 2024, and this visit serves to solidify our relationship. It is built upon mutual respect and profound admiration for their culture.”
The event will form part of the official calendar of Content Americas 2024, which will kick off the day after the gala dinner in Miami. It will have the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkiye in Miami, and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce.
