VANQUISH Sports & Media Group (VSMG), a sports marketing, branded entertainment and media production company, announced that it has gained a controlling majority of its media production subsidiary, consolidating the entire operation under a centralized management team. The company informed that effective immediately Gustavo Tonelli will take on the post of Managing Director of the North and South American operations, with an expanded portfolio that includes the Media division and the recently launched Music business unit, as well as a digital media division soon to be announced. Mr Tonelli will report to CEO Sebastián Arias Duval and founder and CRO Andrés Tortarolo Frágola, with the responsibility to integrate the operations with the parent company, find efficiencies between the SBUs, consolidate the ongoing businesses and land the company in the U.S. market.
As a consequence of the strategic overhaul, Sebastián Averbuj will leave the company and Fernanda Tochi will be promoted to Deputy Director of VANQUISH Media reporting to Mr Tonelli.
Concurrently with these changes, VANQUISH Media is announcing that it has reached a strategic agreement with production powerhouse Sinapsis Producción which will allow it use of the studios, resources and expertise of Sinapsis Producción, while the production house gains access to the full portfolio of brands and talents of VANQUISH Sports and Media Group. As part of this alliance, Sinapsis Producción co-founder Marcos Gorbán will head the creative and production of all joint projects.
On the music front, Agata Medin -whose company Ojo Emergente had entered a cooperation agreement with VANQUISH Music earlier this year- will take over as Manager and A&R of the VANQUISH Music, and will focus on developing artists and streamlining the distribution and rights management’s areas.
