The Spanish-language streaming service VIX has signed a first-look agreement with Emmy-nominated Mexican producer Juanpa Zurita and ARCO Entertainment Media. The deal, announced at TelevisaUnivision's 2024-25 Upfront presentation, grants ViX exclusive access to ARCO Entertainment's Spanish-language series and theatrical motion picture projects.
Zurita is well known among ViX subscribers; he was an integral part in the success of the 2023 ViX Original film “¿Quieres ser mi Hijo?” He continues his commitment with ViX as ARCO Entertainment co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, from where he will be developing diverse premium Spanish-language content and curating exceptional stories for ViX. In these endeavors, his partner, Brenda Tubilla, will serve as the executive producer for said projects, working closely with him. The two-year agreement grants ViX first-look rights to Zurita’s upcoming projects.
