ZDF ENTERPRISES SECURES VRT’S CHILDREN CONTENT SALES ACROSS EUROPE

The titles include “Hoodie,” “Buck,” and #LikeMe.” sold across Spain, Slovenia, Denmark, and Italy, among various other regions, set to join the company's general slate of 20,000 episodes in 25 languages.

ZDF Enterprises has solidified various European sales for three Children’s titles, "Hoodie," "Buck" and "#LikeMe," all commissioned by Belgium’s VRT. “These three shows, from our Children’s catalogue of 20,000 episodes in 25 languages are uniquely different but equally appealing,”  Peter Lang, Vice President ZDFE.junior, ZDF Enterprises, said. “The sales that range from countries as diverse as the UK and Kazakhstan demonstrates how widely good quality Children’s content travels.”

“Hoodie” is an 11-part superhero story centered on a perfectly normal boy with an exceptional talent for parkour. The show, containing 52-minute episodes, was acquired by RTV Slovenia, Canal+ International and Amazon Digital for all German-speaking territories.

“Buck” is a 15-part series, which has so far reached Rai Italy, EITB in Spain, Telecomp ERA LLP in Kazakhstan and RTV Slovenia. The show explores the story of a boy, struggling with his homelife and bullying at school, who finds solace in computer games. His world changes when he comes across Commander Buck, a digital hero who never lets him down.

“#LikeMe," is  a 26-part, 26-minute per episode show obtained by DR Byen in Denmark, Amazon Media for the UK, and Amazon Digital for German-speaking territories." The heartfelt series includes young teenager who enjoys a happy life, and is surrounded by her close-knit family, thriving until her mom is diagnosed with cancer. She then moves to a new city and must learn how to navigate in new environment.
