All3media International recently confirmed the launch of "Midsomer Murders" on The Roku Channel in the US and Canada. “Midsomer Murders continues to drive significant success across multiple windows in North America and indeed globally,” Gary Woolf, EVP Strategic Development for All3Media International noted.

The single-brand FAST channel will now form part of The Roku Channel’s Live TV Guide, identified as  channel number 522 in the US and Canada 359 on EPG. The UK distributor plans to carry out the North American expansion during the first quarter of 2022.

The title, produced by Bentley Productions in association with All3Media International, is now accessible in over 200 territories worldwide. It established its mark in North American since launching in 1997, and has recently transitioned smoothly to AVOD and SVOD platforms.“The digital FAST space allows us to extend that windowing further and brings a unique opportunity for us to schedule and curate the brand, offering fans of the show an opportunity to really immerse themselves in the Midsomer library any time, any day.”  Woolf continued.

The brand channel, managed directly by All3media, is currently considered the largest UK detective export. The episodes set to become accessible on Roku star the original Inspector Barnaby, John Nettles, taking on Criminal cases, showcased through the delivery of the digital linear feed, set to be supported by Wurl.

The launch serves as the first of its kind to be distributed and operated by All3Media. Following the release of “The Only Way Is Essex,” made through a collaboration with Cinedigm, it shapes up the mold to release an interactive novel – “Can You Survive Midsomer?” released by Octopus Books; and a casual gaming app “Midsomer Murders – Words and Mysteries” released by Qiiwi Interactive.
