Binge platform and El Rubius partner in "Rubius Checkpoint"

Binge, a streaming platform focuses on premium original series and shows created for fans of gaming entertainment, and Rubén Doblas Gundersen (known as El Rubius), one of the most-watched gaming content creators in the world, announced a collaboration to develop "Rubius Checkpoint", an original show that investigates gaming curious topics with a wild and entertaining twist. The show will stream exclusively on Binge.com.

“I’ve been creating gaming content online for more than 10 years, and it’s been quite a ride – I’ve travelled around the world, accomplished greater things than I ever thought possible, and I’ve met a lot of friends along the way,” said Rubius. “Now, I’ve come to create my ultimate project with Rubius Checkpoint. Gaming is one of my greatest passions, and now with Checkpoint, I plan to take gaming curiosity to a whole new level with something completely new, and Binge is the perfect partner to help bring my vision to life.”

The series is produced by Binge through a collaborative partnership with El Rubius and Noob Studios, and will star El Rubius and his elite team of gaming personalities and experts. “El Rubius is one of the most prolific gaming personalities in the world and has amassed a passionate and engaged audience with his compelling content,” said Cody Hackman, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Binge. “We’re excited to collaborate with Rubius as a creative partner and to combine his ambitious vision for the show, with our production expertise, to entertain and engage gaming fans in an entirely new way exclusively on Binge.”

Announced during E3 2021, Binge is a new streaming platform on a mission to create exclusive content that helps entertain, engage and unite the gaming community. It will showcase original premium content inspired by the most popular video game worlds and content creators. Led by a team of experienced content producers, united by a passion for games, Binge will be available to stream for free on any internet-connected device when it launches in 2022.
