BLUE ANT LAUNCHES THREE NEW LINEAR CHANNELS ON ROKU IN THE USA

The deal is part of Roku’s expansion of its free live/linear channel lineup, which now offers more than 100 free channels and reaches households for an estimated 36 million people. The family channels include Love Nature and ZooMoo.

Blue Ant Media has launched three new linear channels on The Roku Channel As part of the expansion of its most popular global brands in the US. The new family channels on Roku include wildlife and nature brand Love Nature, along with Love Nature Español, and ZooMoo, a children's offering showing animal-related content. “Blue Ant Media’s partnership with Roku is an important step in our AVOD expansion in the U.S. market because it allows us to introduce our suite of premium brands to one of the largest and most engaged streaming audiences in the world,” said Ward Platt, CEO, Kids & Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.

The deal is part of Roku’s expansion of its free live/linear channel lineup, which now offers more than 100 free channels and reaches households with an estimated 36 million people. Love Nature and ZooMoo are also launching in conjunction with Roku’s new Live TV Channel Guide, which offers users a new, easy to navigate, on-screen guide experience.

The programming that will be added onto Roku's Love Nature channels includes the 7 60-minute episodes of "Secrets of Wild Australia," which showcases Australia’s most unique animals, along with the 6 episodes of "Animal Empires," and "Land of Gremlins."

ZooMoo's line-up includes the live-action preschool series, "Kooki’s Crafty Show," hosted by a red panda named Kooki, who empowers young children to unleash their creativity through crafting and "Lost," a live-action, puppet-based series that follows Flash, a wildlife photographer with little sense of direction and a taste for adventure who takes viewers on global adventures. “Audiences can expect an award-winning line-up of nature and kids programming, which is now in high demand as parents seek out shows they can trust for their children during these unprecedented times," Platt said.
