Disney+ acquired "The Nameless," from Movistar Plus+, for Latin America

Movistar Plus+ original productions continue to reach new milestones in the international market, thanks to their quality and their commitment to reaching a mass audience through universal stories with local roots. "The Nameless," a series created by Pau Freixas and Pol Cortecans, will be broadcast exclusively on Disney+ in all its Latin American territories from September 10, 2025, thanks to an agreement signed by Movistar Plus+ International with Gloriamundi Producciones.

This is the second original Movistar Plus+ series that Latin American audiences will be able to enjoy after the arrival of "Marbella," which has also been available in the various Disney+ territories since July. "The Nameless" joins a growing number of Movistar Plus+ original series and films that are generating enormous interest among major international platforms and distributors. This consolidates Movistar Plus+ as a key driver of Spanish audiovisual content and a platform that promotes Spanish culture around the world.

"The Nameless," created by Pau Freixas and Pol Cortecans, is a psychological thriller starring Miren Ibarguren, Rodrigo de la Serna, and Milena Smit. Following its presentation on April 27 at the Barcelona Film Fest, the series premiered exclusively on Movistar Plus+ on June 26 and is available to all customers of the platform on the on-demand service.

The series tells the story of Claudia, a woman who loses her daughter Ángela in a traumatic way. Years later, just as she is beginning to recover from the trauma, she discovers that her daughter may still be alive. "Mum, it's me, Ángela. Please come and get me!" This is the shocking phrase that Claudia hears on the phone and which will give her hope. Claudia then turns to Salazar, the inspector who handled the case after the disappearance, and Laura, the young woman whose life was saved by Angela, a special girl with a strange gift, after a serious traffic accident. Together they will follow the little girl's trail through mysterious places that hide a terrifying truth.
