The new sports channel Telefoot, of the Mediapro Group, was presented at a press conference at the beginning of its broadcasts, which take place today. The launch was attended by Jaume Roures, president of the Mediapro Group; Julien Bergeaud, head of Mediapro Sport France; and Jean Michel Roussier, Head of Programming at Mediapro Sport France.
The Mediapro Group will use the most advanced technology and all its experience in football channels in France. Mediapro Sport France will produce the Telefoot channel as well as a specific channel for public establishments.
Telefoot is the new home of French football with the eight most outstanding matches in Ligue 1 Uber Eats and another eight in Ligue 2 BKT. The selection includes the two classics of the season between PSG and Olympique de Marseille, the two Olympics between Olympique de Lyon and Olympique de Marseille, the two derbies between Olympique de Lyon and Saint Etiénne and the two clashes between PSG and Olympique de Lyon of the course . The next season of the UEFA Champions League and the entire UEFA Europa League will also be available on the channel.
At its 2,500-square-meter headquarters in Paris, the channel has two sets for the realization of programs, one of them with a live audience, video post-production rooms, audio post-production rooms and numerous commentary booths. For the production of the television signal for the meetings, Mediapro will also use the most advanced equipment. 10 Mobile Units, 2 of them of the latest generation Ultra HD 4K, will be available to the channel as well as cranes, special cameras and Omni4sky aerial cameras. The latest Mobile Unit built by Mediapro will be used in the production of the French league matches, it has the capacity to transmit in Ultra HD 4K HDR from up to 40 latest generation cameras. The graphics of the live matches and in the Telefoot programs will also use the best technology.
The Telefoot newsroom, fully digitized, will have up-to-the-minute images of all stadiums and exclusive images captured during the week with 30 cameras with backpacks for live connections. Trainings, press conferences and all the Club news at the moment and live. More than 100 journalists working in the Telefoot newsroom to offer a complete program dedicated to the Clubs and their fans.
More than 500 professionals will be on the playing fields each weekend for the production of live matches, and more than 200 will work at the Telefoot production center in Aubervilliers. All will use the highest standards of quality and technological innovation.
