Netflix is looking for young artists for its reality show “La Firma”

Netflix is working on a new reality show called “La Firma,” which will try to find the new star of Latin music. Renowned artists of the genre will participate in the project, such as the singers Rauw Alejandro, Yandel and Nicki Nicole, the businessman Lex Borrero and the producer Tainy.

Created by Lex Borrero, developed by Howard Owens and director Nikki Boella, and produced by Propagate and Ntertain, the musical contest will feature the promises of the genre and "the culture that has made Latin urban music a global phenomenon,"  as confirmed by the platform. To sign up, participants must complete their information on a web page provided by Netflix.

"La Firma" will follow the contestants' journeys to Miami, while the cameras record "where no other program dares to go to undress the drama, sweat and tears that must be experienced to become a global superstar". The winning artist will sign with the talent incubator Neon16, founded by Lex Borrero and Tainy, and declared the most innovative music company by Fast Company in 2021.
