PARAMOUNT+ LAUNCHES IN LATIN AMERICA WITH 5.000 HOURS OF CONTENT

ViacomCBS today launched the new Paramount+ streaming service in Latin America with more than 5.000 hours of content from brands such as Showtime, CBS Television Studios, Paramount Pictures, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and Telefe.

ViacomCBS today launched the new Paramount+ streaming service in Latin America with more than 5.000 hours of content. Paramount+ will be the Latin American home of Showtime, Paramount+ Original Series premieres, CBS Television Studios, and select movies from Paramount Pictures. The new streaming service will also feature a wide variety of content and local productions from iconic ViacomCBS' brands, such as MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and Telefe.

The new Paramount+ offers original series, including “No Activity,” “Strange Angel,” “SpongeBob's Under Years,” “Two Weeks to Live,” “Yellowstone,” and “Killing Eve”, among others. At the same time, it has a large selection of films, such as “The Outpost” and “The Fanatic”. Paramount+ also features the "Mission Impossible" film franchise, "The Godfather" trilogy, "Forrest Gump," "Vanilla Sky," and more classic films.

Local content from MTV and Comedy Central include “Acapulco Shore: Sus Historias,” “Families of the Mafia,” “Se Renta Cuartos (season 3), and “La Culpa es de Malinche” in Spanish-speaking countries. In Brasil, there are shows like “DEFEX Brazil,” “A Treta Não Tira Férias,” “Jersey Shore,” and “A Culpa e do Cabral” (season 9).

Kids & Families will be able to enjoy their favorite Nickelodeon shows such as “Top Wing,” “Tyler Perry's Young Dylan,” “The Casagrandes” (season 2), “PAW Patrol,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies,” “Blaze & the Monster Machines,” and “SpongeBob SquarePants”.

Paramount+ also features premium content from Showtime, including the drama series “Your Honor,” starring Bryan Cranston, and executive produced by Edward Berger. Other Showtime original premieres available on the service are “The Good Lord Bird,” “The Comey Rule,” and “Escape at Dannemora”.

●  WELCOME TO LATIN AMERICA

Mexico City, Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires will celebrate the arrival of Paramount+ to Latin America with open-air shows featuring the most iconic film and television titles and characters that are featured on Paramount+. In Mexico City, Skymagic and Paramount+ are teaming up to deliver a stunning 300 drone light show. A 3D mapping show will be featured in Brazil and Argentina at the Ibirapuera Auditorium and the Law School, respectively.

As part of the Paramount + launch, until April 4, Pluto TV will have a featured Paramount+ branded channel. Paramount+ Presenta can be found in the Featured category and will present select episodes of the Paramount+ original content. MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, and Telefe will also welcome Paramount+ with special programming premiering sneak peeks and Paramount+ original show roadblocks.

Consumers can sign up for a seven day free trial and then sign up for the service at a monthly subscription of: MXN $79.00 in Mexico; ARS $299 in Argentina; BRL $19.90 in Brazil; CLP $3.199 in Chile; COP $13.900 in Colombia; PEN $14.90 in Peru; BS $34.400 in Bolivia; PYG $28.900 in Paraguay, UYU $159.000 in Uruguay; and US $4.99 in Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador and Panama.

The new Paramount+ is available online at paramountplus.com and on mobile and connected TV devices via the Paramount+ app for iOS and Android. The service will also have broad distribution on major partners, including Apple, Amazon’s Prime Video Channels in Mexico and Brazil, Claro Video, Mercado Libre, Izzi, Megacable, Total Play, Claro Brazil, Vivo, Oi, Incomm, and Dish.
