The Mediapro Studio US & Canada and Telemundo Studios have announced a new strategic alliance to jointly develop and produce original films aimed at Hispanic audiences in the United States and beyond. The collaboration is designed to create high-quality, culturally resonant storytelling that reflects the voices, heritage, and experiences of Latino communities. This agreement follows their recent co-production of the film "Atrápelo quien pueda" and represents a deeper commitment by both companies to tap into the growing demand for Spanish-language content in North America and global markets.

JC Acosta, Head of The Mediapro Studio US & Canada, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Telemundo, a trusted leader in Spanish-language media, to create groundbreaking content that resonates deeply with Hispanic audiences in the U.S. and beyond. This collaboration is an exciting step in our mission to produce globally relevant stories with strong local impact.”

Javier Pons, Chief Content Officer & Head of Telemundo Studios, added: “We’re proud to join forces with The Mediapro Studio on a partnership that puts Hispanic stories front and center. Together, we will create content that amplifies and reflects Latino voices, while continuing to set new standards for top-level production in the industry.”

Under the terms of the alliance, the two companies will work together to deliver original movies that feature compelling narratives, spotlight emerging talent, and explore innovative formats. The Mediapro Studio will bring to the table its market leadership in production, reinforced by its current lineup that includes "Las Bravas S2", "Consuelo S2 Intercambiadas", and "Mesa de Regalos". Telemundo will contribute its vast distribution footprint across broadcast, pay TV, and streaming platforms.

The alliance signals the companies' broader strategic intent to build a pipeline of original Spanish-language films with global relevance, starting with a slate of projects already in development. Additional details on upcoming titles are expected to be announced in the coming months.
