ViX confirmed the second season of its hit comedy series "Consuelo" will premiere on August 22. All episodes will be available exclusively on the platform's premium plan. "Consuelo" was created by Juan Carlos Aparicio Schlesinger and Mateo Stivelberg, who also directed the second season. The series is executive-produced by Catalina Porto Urdaneta and produced by Catalina Figueroa. The project received approval for the CINA incentive (Audiovisual Investment Certificate) granted by the Colombian government and administered by Proimágenes Colombia.

The ViX original series, produced by The Mediapro Studio, stars Cassandra Sánchez Navarro ("Mujeres Asesinas 3," "La Hora Marcada," "Mesa de Regalos"), Erick Chapa ("El doctor del pueblo," "El Extraño retorno de Diana Salazar"), Eileen Yáñez ("Luna negra," "Nudo mixteco"), Lincoln Palomeque ("La Reina del Sur," "Flow Calle"), Verónica Bravo ("Sobreviviendo mis XV," "Cuando sea joven"), Valentina Acosta ("Accidente"), and Catherine Siachoque ("Mujeres Asesinas 2" and "Amanecer"). The cast also includes Sofía Monárrez, Camila Núñez, Alexander Ventosa, Essined Aponte, Paula Barreto, Yuri Vargas, Ana Celeste Montalvo, and Mario Ruiz.

Set in 1950s Mexico City, the series masterfully blends drama and comedy through the story of a Mexican high-society woman who, after being abandoned by her husband, must find a way to survive while taking control of her destiny—and her desires. The second season begins with Olga celebrating her husband Joaquín's election as a congressman, but her joy is short-lived. For the first time in her life, she becomes the talk of the town. Meanwhile, Consuelo is in jail for "offending public morals" and will be rescued by someone unexpected. Elsewhere, Carlos Julio, Consuelo's ex-husband, reenters her life with the promise of helping her regain her social status—but his motives are more selfish than they seem.
