Macquarie released a new research report, which indicates that Peacock will hit 52.1 million in 2024 with revenues of USD 1.96 billion. In 2021, the streamer is estimated to hit USD 604 million in revenue, USD 197 million coming from advertising and USD 407 million from subscription revenues.

Since its launch in mid-July, Peacock has garnered USD 296 million in revenue from 28.9 million U.S. subscribers, according to the financial research company, with 26 million coming from Peacock’s ad-supported services, and the majority of that coming from its basic free, ad-supported option, Peacock.

Currently, a big piece of revenue for NBC’s streaming platform comes from its free and subscription, ad-supported services. In terms of growing subscribers, synergies with other Comcast platforms will continue to be a point of growth for the service. The streamer, which is offered to free for Comcast’s Flex and Xfinity X1 subscribers, will, the report says, contribute to a “rare increase” in quarterly subscribers for Comcast’s cable operations.

NBC's stramer offers three subscriptions to its subscribers, including a monthly ad-supported subscription for USD 4.99/month, a Peacock Premium Plus subscription with no advertising for USD 9.99/month. Macquarie’s Tim Nollen has raised Comcast’s target price from USD 53 to USD 58, with the analyst expecting solid broadband subscriber growth in the upcoming Q4 2020 results.
