“Costiera”
The first images of the international light action-drama series “Costiera” have been unveiled at Prime Video Presents Italy, in Rome. The Italian Original series co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide and will be available exclusively on Prime Video in 2025 in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and in all English-speaking countries Great Britain, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, while Fremantle will handle global sales in all other territories.
“Costiera” stars Jesse Williams joined by a rich cast of Italian and international talent, such as Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
Daniel De Luca a half Italian former U.S. marine who returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. In addition to dealing with the hotel's wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner's daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced.
From an idea of Luca Bernabei, the six-episode series is written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch and is shot in English and directed by Emmy award winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli.
