US and UK premium SVOD/AVOD streaming aggregator ScreenHits TV, launching a rapid global expansion starting in India and continuing across key European, Latin and North American territories in the coming months, announced the addition of Joe Lewis, former Amazon Studios' Head of Comedy and Drama and current Head of Amplify Pictures; former WarnerMedia and Disney EMEA distribution executive Humphrey Black; and senior Latin America network, streaming, content and business executive Mariano Kon.

“The importance of having the collective wisdom of Joe, Humphrey and Mariano available to us as we expand and enhance our footprint around the world cannot be understated. With our focus on our territory rollouts, new product features and always creating the best product, their counsel and management will be invaluable as we face the challenges of all of the wonderful opportunities available to us right now,”  said Adkins Hulse, Founder and CEO of ScreenHits TV.

Lewis will serve on the ScreenHits TV Advisory Board alongside Black and another recent addition, financier-turned-documentary producer Ghislaine Couvillat. An Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning producer, Lewis’ credits include executive producing “Fleabag” for BBC/Amazon, “Too Old to Die Young and Transparent” for Amazon and “100 Foot Wave” for HBO.

“ScreenHits TV has created an amazing aggregator with incredible streamers that is consumer focused and well curated. I'm excited to join the Board and to be working with an exceptional and innovative team at ScreenHits TV as they enter into their growth phase. It is exciting to see media evolving with industry veterans and a leader like Rose at the helm of a media tech business,"  Lewis commented.

Meanwhile, Black has held senior distribution roles at WarnerMedia and Disney. As Vice President, Media Distribution for EMEA, at WarnerMedia, and as a member of the executive management team, he led all network distribution, program licensing and digital distribution activities in the region. At Disney, he was responsible for distribution of the company’s portfolio of networks and championed the launch of branded on-demand services and mobile apps.

“With the array of streaming services growing daily, there is a clear customer need for a service like ScreenHits TV, which offers greater simplicity, convenience and value to its users by aggregating their streaming services. I’m excited to be involved in a company with so much potential to be an important player in the new media landscape,”  Black declared.

Lastly, Kon brings an extensive network, streaming, content and business development background to ScreenHits TV. He has served in senior network posts in Latin America, including VP & GM of Programming and Production for A&E Channel, GM of Claxson’s Infinito Channels and, most recently, Argentina’s streaming platform Cont.ar. The executive has also taken the reins of content and business development at international production companies Eyeworks/Cuatro Cabezas, BBC Worldwide/GP Media and Plataforma.

“In times of profound change in how content is produced, distributed and consumed, ScreenHits TV is one of the most innovative companies in the global media industry today. This service is a unique opportunity and it is a great honor for me to be able to contribute to its growth in such a dynamic region as Latin America, where we can provide the best aggregation experience to Latin American audiences,”  Kon said.

The added muscle comes as the fast-growing, intuitive content curation technology service is about to launch in multiple international territories, starting with India, where it has entered into a JV agreement with the founders of India’s Vial Content Tech – former Sony Pictures Network India CEO Kunal Dasgupta and EVP Vivek Gupta - to lead the service’s expansion in the world’s soon-to-be most populous nation.

India joins a growing list of territories gaining access to the streaming service, which is about to embark on launches in European, Latin and North American territories, beginning with the DACH territories (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at the end of this month, followed by Argentina and Canada.
