Be-Entertainment's "The Political Assembly" was recognized at the Kastaars! Awards

"The Political Assembly", a groundbreaking format produced by Bargoens and globally distributed by Be-Entertainment, was honored with the Impact Award 2024 by the jury at the Kastaars! awards. These prizes celebrate an outstanding production that exemplifies creativity, quality, and innovation within Flemish media. It recognizes acts of courage, boldness, and bravery in the media landscape of Flanders.

The groundbreaking format is led by well-known and renowned TV-maker Eric Goens. The first season was a runaway success on VTM in Belgium and achieved an impressive average market share of almost 50% (18-44, consolidated) during the pre-election period. Be-Entertainment distributions already led to the format’s success extending beyond Belgium’s borders with commissions confirmed in The Netherlands and in Denmark.

"The Political Assembly" breaks new ground as the first reality series featuring real politicians. It invites key political figures to spend a weekend in a castle, fostering an environment of group debates, one-on-one duels, and candid personal confessions. Free from the influence of spin doctors, the series delves into authentic discussions, revealing politicians' true colors as both passionate professionals and relatable human beings.
