Content Americas has confirmed the first 100 buyers registered for the 2024 event, which is set to take place in the refurbished Miami Downtown Hilton between January 23-25. Buyer take-up for Content Americas 2024 has been rapid, with extended meeting and exhibition space added to accommodate increased demand. Content Americas has invited 500 essential buyers from the Lat Am and international market free of charge and anticipates a significant increase in critical executives attending the market and conference.
The inaugural event attracted 1,600 content executives and scored an 8.5 rating from delegates who attended the market and conference. Content Americas 2024 will also host a Formats & Factual strand in the conference program, with a set of sessions focused on developing unscripted international business across the three-day event and the inaugural North American Hitmakers HOT100, an initiative designed to bring key US and Canadian programmers into the Miami mix in January. Moreover, the final of The Rose d’Or Latinos, celebrating the best programming from across the Spanish-speaking world and extending the heritage Rose d’Or awards brand, will also occur during Content Americas. There will also be a Content Americas Pitch Competition in Miami in 2024, with a prize of US$ 25,000 worth of marketing across C21’s platforms for the winning show.
Moreover, Content Americas has announced it will host a Turkish Programming Spotlight at the 2024 event, taking a deep dive into the companies and shows setting the pace in the Turkish content market as the new year begins. The Turkish Programming Spotlight will be a cornerstone of the Content Americas 2024 agenda, as leading players reveal their upcoming slates and discuss sales and coproduction opportunities. It will be supported by Turkish Programming C21Screenings Special, which will profile the major companies and showcase new Turkish programming through a Digital Campaign published in January 2024. Confirmed companies include Eccho Rights, Global Agency, Inter Medya, Kanal D, MediaHub, and OGM Universe, with more to be announced shortly.
