MIP London and Robert Gillings Productions announced that star-studded action-drama "Paper Empire" will have its international premiere at the upcoming inaugural five-day MIP London international content and networking market (23-27 February 2025).

The series boasts a high-profile cast including Wesley Snipes, Steve Guttenberg, Cuba Gooding Jr., Denise Richards and Kelsey Grammer, and centres around Laurence Fintch, played by Robert Davi ("The Goonies", "License To Kill", "Die Hard"), a financial wizard who becomes the world’s biggest crypto fraudster and brings forth global financial armageddon. Created, written and directed by Robert Gillings, Paper Empire is produced by Robert Gillings Productions, Tadross Media Group and Inner Circle Films.

The pilot of the independently produced series, filmed across multiple international locations, will be screened for the first time on Tuesday 25 February at 6.00 PM at the IET London on Savoy Place with Gillings, lead Robert Davi and fellow cast member Carol Alt in attendance.

Lucy Smith Director of MIP London and MIPCOM Cannes praised how daring the title in question is: "Paper Empire is ambitious, independent, and its premise could not be timelier. It’s premiering at MIP London further delivers on our promise of staging a strong inaugural programme during London’s biggest week of content," commented.

Over 1700 delegates from more than 70 countries have now registered for MIP London including over 800 buyers. The premiere forms part of a multi-genre conference programme at MIP London aimed at delivering more people, business and opportunities across a key content week in the global TV industry calendar.
