DISCOP Johannesburg 2019, the film, television and digital content market that will take place 20 to 22 November at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, confirmed its list of delegates and its program.

Attendees will represent 100+ exhibiting companies; 125+ global and regional content distribution companies; 200+ up-and-coming/seasoned production companies from Africa; 20+ content monetization, localization and delivery services; and 200+ linear TV stations, pay TV networks, telcos, mobile networks and streaming services serving the African continent.

The program will go beyond content selling and buying, and will cover co-production and distribution opportunities in a rapidly changing audiovisual landscape where there is no end in sight for the demand of original homegrown content.

The sidebar DISCOPRO program will also put a strong emphasis on African television projects in development; the continent's booming animation sector; coproduction opportunities between South Africa and the U.K., Canada, France, and Australia; content monetization challenges; fake news; and ways to bring video gaming competitions to television viewers.

The DISCOPRO agenda will feature 35+ sessions, 50+ guest speakers, and 50+ original projects in development. Click here to see the full agenda.

All delegates (except visitors) will have access to the list of confirmed delegates, including their contact details and business profiles, advance meeting organization services and a communal space where they can hold their meetings. They can also feature their content and projects in DISCOP’s virtual showroom for a one-year period and benefit from post-market follow-up assistance.
